Hmmm, maybe my 8 rib setup would of worked better with a bigger crank pulley, I was using a 7.85" 8 rib crank pulley from ASP, and a 3.3" Reichard racing pulley with a Dayco belt........saw 14psi then nose dived

7.85 is not far off from my 8.0 Vortech crank pulley.

You Procharger guys should hold off a few weeks to see my results. With a f1 blower you would need a larger blower pulley. The step up is 5.X:1 so my pulley Combo would spin it close to 75k. Larger blower pulley would mean less chance of slipping.

FYI, the step up is 5to1.... and that is great BUTTTTTTTT..... have you ever tried to start out riding a 10speed in 10th gear? with that great of a step up, it becomes much more difficult turn the wheel (impellar).. this is the reason why a procharger blower requires considerably more hp to turn than an equivalent vortech blower..just my $.02

how so? 3.08:1 rear end creates more load on a motor at start than a 4.10:1 would. The prochargers should be easy to get spinnig and taxing on the biger end. the vortechs the oposite.

The rear gear in a car is a step down(small gear driving a big gear). A blower is the exact opposite.

thank you xlr8nss...

and my scenario of a 10speed is similar to a blower... big gear driving a little gear

Yea, they do suck up quite a bit of power......

It would be a good thing to run a bigger blower pulley with the bigger crank pulley, then there won't be a lot of slip.......

I plan on an F1 in the future with a Intercooler setup similar to PSJ's.........

Off topic - I just set my budget for my 03 Cobra and it just kinda hits me that Ill put down the same or better numbers for 10 to 15 grand less. But by July I'll be able to breeak down cost to modify each of the two cars.

I am up in Western Michigan and have had limited internet access.

Dyno update: 560rwhp, 14psi, T400, 7000 stall.

Yup we are making 14 lbs of boost with a 7000 stall.

I will change the stall and then we will redyno.

We think mid 600's rwhp on a dynojet is for sure, it's only going to go up with a 4000-5000 true stall. I'm thinking 4000 stall right now.

I have a TCS Phoenix Super Pro, it's a 9" converter that was supposed to be around 5000 but it flashes to 7000.
