Well finally got to get a good run until it it 4800 rpm and diceded to start acting up. Come to find out I still had my tr55 plugs in the car so I'm going to install some tr6 and gap them to .030 .
Still put down 396rwhp and 378 torque

Not to bad with the miss or spark blowing out .Heres the graph .

How much boost are you running and any plans for meth? I know maggies tend to get alittle hot.

I"m running 7# of boost no plans for meth. Some people are thinking my ls6 valve springs are not enough for the stock cam. Geuss I'll find out when I redyno since i've put in some tr6 plugs.

I had stock Z06 springs and they held fine with a Z06 cam and stock heads at 10#'s with my old maggie setup. One thing at a time. Change the plugs gap them correctly to what you said before.

I do want to say this though. Your graphs looks like it could be the springs though. With your plugs your going to have issues while at boost and you should be hitting full boost around 3000 RPM's. You do not have those lines untill you hit higher RPM's vs Higher boost. So if the plugs do not fix your issue, the springs definitly need to be addressed.

I put down 618/695 with ls6 springs/cam in a stock bottom end. my graph was a steady pull all the way to 6k. (turbo)

do the plugs first and try again.

I have since changed out thr plugs for some TR6 gapped @.030 but with work and the weather I avn't had time to get back on the dyno or drive it too much.

joblo1978 - are you still running the stock LS1 longblock with just a cam to get 513 rwhp. How much boost ?

The most boost I see is 7.5# and thats with a 2.8 pulley .

That's with a lingenfelter GT2-3 and some other valvetrain goodies, m6, 91 octane, stock bottom end and cubes. Lots of other bolt-ons and maybe a little other trickery.

I'm also high altitude, 6-7k feet, that is SAE corrected

6.5 lbs. max boost as it sais in the graph. Nice huh?

More info in my fquick.

Higher boost doesn't necessarily equate to higher numbers.

BTW, I'm running TR6's with patriot dual golds, since that seems to be what this is about. Took alot of "on the road" tuning to get it where it is. Could have squeezed another 20 out of it too, but I like my **** to hold together. Ractronix with hotwire kit also.

I love it, puts you in the seat real hard! Kinda like your about takeoff in a jet.

Oh I see you are a 6 speed ,I'm A4 with a yank st3500 stall ,I really need a cam . What where the numbers before corrected.Does the ice on top really help that much.

I think the first run was 517. We let it cool with ice and cracked the cutout to see what it would get. I was just hoping to get a 525+ number and we did.

Correction is kind of iffy with FI and altitude so who really knows? My best is a 12.40 at 112 with a 1.8 60'. Full weight if not more, stock 3.42's, barely grabbing 4th, and 18" wheels.

I can run even slower than that and blow the doors off of LS7 vettes at well over a mile high.
