Default STS questions before i get started....

well guys i was looking around before at procharging my car but i found out in the long run it would cost more.
So i've decided since there arnt anyone in my area running an sts i figured id be the first . i've actaully begun my build i have a buddy sending me is stock manifolds and im ordering my ORY from stainless works on monday.
i have a few question about the kit i havent been able to find on the website thats been buggin me . a good reason i picked the sts was because of gas mileage with me driving 9+ hours id like to get maybe upwards of 25+ on the interstate.

1) what size turbo typically comes with the sts?

2) if anyone could upgrade the turbo from the stock kit, what would you upgrade too? i've been looking at a GT76

3)how much of a gas mileage have you guys seen,

4) how long do these kits take to install? my biggest fear about this kit was the wiring harness lol im still a newb

5) does anyone have an install manual that i could take a sneak peek at?.

so far im proud to say ill be starting my build with a pair of stock manifolds, 2.5 ory. and getting my heads on.

The STS kit comes with a 60-1 turbo, 38mm turbomart wastegate intercooler, 50mm BOV, & tuning (injectors & predator) for $6,495.

The wiring harness is extremely easy to install. You only have to tap into one factory wire then the rest is basically bolt on.

recommend if you order new upgrade to the 67mm turbo assuming your goals are around 550 or less. the 67 with the .81 housing is a good compromise of spool vs hp

3)how much of a gas mileage have you guys seen...

i'm getting between 20-25mpg at 80mph/needle width below 2kRPM's in 6th gear depending on road conditions, elevation changes and my lead foot.. maybe a bit more mpg at 65mph

edit: i also have the 385cu.in motor too. i don't know if that has any bearing on the mileage

the 60-1 is the baseline one

you can have a couple of different choices I have known people to get a 76 from STS where I have the 67 so my guess would be it's just a call to see what you can get
3)how much of a gas mileage have you guys see?
I was doing really good with mine but I had a few hours of dyno time mixed in and street driving so I can't say for sure but it was a bit better than my cousin's WRX
4) how long do these kits take to install? my biggest fear about this kit was the wiring harness lol im still a newb the wiring harness is very very simple once you hook it up you will realize you were worried for nothing. Shoot the whole install went very quick and I took my sweet *** time with it, in my drive way with dinky little jack stands

5) does anyone have an install manual that i could take a sneak peek at?.
let me find it pm me your email
Don't be afraid of it and look into the things that people have done on here to make the kit better and reliable and you will be happy with it.

look on here in the parts section for a used turbo kit there are a couple from people parting out cars and such and I am sure they will work with you on price, it's where I got mine but basically you will be changing out a lot of stuff on it to make it more efficient (very cheap mods) but goodluck and don't be afraid to ask people with rear mounts on here for advice too
