Default What size wastegate do I need?

I'm putting this T-76 on this winter and I'm trying to get all my parts together. I was thinking of using a Tial 46mm but I want to get your guys opinions on what size wastegate I need. I don't want to spend the xtra money on something too big when I don't need it. I would like to make 600rwhp or so. So would the 38mm tial be enough?

Thanks
Frank

I wouldn't trust a single 38MM tial to control boost on an LS1. You could run 2 smaller wastegates, like a pair of tial 38's, or run one bigger wastegate, like a tial 46MM or an HKS GT gate.

It really depends how how LOW you want to set the boost. Your using the gate to bypass the turbo, so you can't really go too big. But go too small and you won't be able to control boost where you want.

FWIW, i've got a pair of Tial 46's. Even with the 3psi springs i can't go lower than 10. A combo of the turbo limits and the gate sizes. But I have VERY precise control using the light springs and large valves.
