9#'s all the time here, actually gonna get a boost controller to up it to 11-12 when it warms up a little here

Its all in the tune but i would say with your mods you will be well on the safe side at 9psi as long as you watch your IAT's and your AFR you will be fine. I have been runing 9 pounds on a stock LS1 with factory heads for about a year now and drive the car on weekly basis.
