Woo-Hoo!
I went by this morning to MMS and they had the motor in and the car is running! The exhaust was uncorked so it was LOUD! I thought my ears were going to start bleeding. It sounds better then I ever imagined. It went off to the exhaust shop to get the 3" y-pipe, hi-flo cats and electornic cutouts (before the cats) installed. After that, the 12-bolt, Wilwood brakes, Hal shocks, and hi-capacity radiator. Then we brake everything in, make sure everything is good to go, get some 1/4 mile times, and then...
The cogged F1R and fuel system goes in. Not sure on the intercooling yet - Mike Morgan is thinking about a custom water/methanol injection kit instead of an intercooler so we'll see what he comes up with... Lots and lots of testing to be done. I should get more details on the fuel system in a couple of weeks. I'll get it back in a few weeks so I can help brake it in before the F1R goes in. Should be a blast! Hopefully the entire project will be done by mid-February.

what are you going to do about fitting the F1R in there?
are you going to use the ATI bracket or have a custom one made? how about the inlet hat?
sound very stout! hurry up and get it done !!

Honestly, I have no clue how Mike is going to fit it in there. I'll make sure to take LOTS of pictures/vids during the install process. Heck yeah hurry up! It's been in the shop over 6 months!

Thanks! The compression ratio is 8:1 so the engine won't give me huge numbers but it'll still be enough to keep me sliding around on my Nittos!
