Default motor plates??

I did a search but can't find pics of them with truck manifolds...I am doing a truck manifold build and was thinking of using motor plates instead of the regular mounts....
however the manifold looks like it would go directly through the middle of the plate anyon with insight and pics please

Look at any pics of my build. To my knowledge, I have the only motor plate that will work with a manifold turbo setup, unless you have something made custom for your app.

that motor plate is beutiful and I want it lol, where and how much money was it, and how thick is it... only thing I would have to do is make it work with an
ls6 intake manifold...

and you don't have the mid plate right, do u have anything else to hold engine besides plate

thanks

I have the madman motor plates and truck manifolds. You just have to trim them to fit. Ill snap a few pics of mine and post them up tomorrow.

I have the madman plates as well. You just have to make a little clearance for the pipes.

I use the madman front plate with a travel limiter on the drivers side.

I used the comp eng. limiter. I think it was around $45. madman sells one as well for $70 somthing.

ya, well I like the way tim99ws6's looks because you can fit the foward manifolds without cutting up the plates, and I would think that by cutting it you have to be weakening the plate design.... and with a car making 8 or 900rwhp lets say, I don't think that would be a chance I want to take..

plus I looked up his style motor plate and it's reasonably cheaper than the madman product

to be honest,
you are probably fine by with trimming them up, alot of guys do it. Like you said it really comes down to personal prefrence and asthetic value, as well as price for me, haha. Plus I don't personally care for the elephant ear(2 piece) design. So I got on the phone and found a company that was willing to develop something new for the ls crowd! I am hoping these plates start being sold as a drop ship item by bigger name shops like burkhart or madman, cause they really are a nice piece, but the company that makes them is too small to afford ls1tech sponsorship.

Burkhart can make some plates (I asked) and also Stenod and crew can make a set of plates as well (I have asked).
