motor plates??
motor plates?? I did a search but can't find pics of them with truck manifolds...I am doing a truck manifold build and was thinking of using motor plates instead of the regular mounts....
however the manifold looks like it would go directly through the middle of the plate anyon with insight and pics please

ls6 intake manifold...
and you don't have the mid plate right, do u have anything else to hold engine besides plate

Verdad Gallardo ya, well I like the way tim99ws6's looks because you can fit the foward manifolds without cutting up the plates, and I would think that by cutting it you have to be weakening the plate design.... and with a car making 8 or 900rwhp lets say, I don't think that would be a chance I want to take..

you are probably fine by with trimming them up, alot of guys do it. Like you said it really comes down to personal prefrence and asthetic value, as well as price for me, haha. Plus I don't personally care for the elephant ear(2 piece) design. So I got on the phone and found a company that was willing to develop something new for the ls crowd! I am hoping these plates start being sold as a drop ship item by bigger name shops like burkhart or madman, cause they really are a nice piece, but the company that makes them is too small to afford ls1tech sponsorship.
