How much boost can the ls1 computer handle?
How much boost can the ls1 computer handle? Wondering if I go high boost, will my stock be able to keep up or is there an aftermarket set-up I will need and where do I get it? Looking for 7-800 fi rwhp possibly spray too! Thanks in advance for your help!
the stock computer measures air flow, not boost... so you could run 30psi and would not matter to the computer. on the other hand if you are asking can the stock unmodified hardware and software calculate fuel and timing for near 1khp, the answer is no... but if your last name is harlan or lingenfelter you stand a shot at modifying it to work.

With just a little tuning through LS1edit the stock computer should be able to handle ~670 flywheel hp pretty easy. Above that it's not as good without some more involved techniques.
