ZO6 cam kit...install it or sell it?
-2002-2004 LS6 cam GM part #12565308...still taped up in the tube.
-1 set of LS6 valve springs GM part number 12565313...individually packaged...old part #?
-1 set of LS6 valve spring retainers...no label with part number, but still new in bag. Maybe came as part of the package?
This cam kit was apparently purchased back in '03 and never taken out of the box...maybe that accounts for the old part numbers. The only description I'm able to find on the springs are "LS6 valve spring, replacement", so I'm guessing they will work fine. I've only heard of the "yellow" springs associated with the LS6 cam, and these aren't yellow...just metallic. Hopefully someone can chime in there. No pushrods or timing chain, though...

I think I'm going to bite the bullet and throw this thing in, unless one of you needs it real bad. Might as well since I'm in there...just have to pull the radiator.
Question on the pushrods. In looking at the part number on the cam, it says to use pushrods that are .050 longer than stock LS1 if you are using the cam with LS1 (241) heads, since factory LS6 heads use a longer valve. So I should be OK with 7.450 pushrods, yes?
And timing chain...go with an LS2 unit?
Thanks guys.
The reason I'm posting this is to tell you that your wasting your time and money on basically a small minor change. You can do alot better than those cams. Trust me. It was my time and money.
Best time at 491, 11.38 @ 124.x. Best time with new LG cam, in sig.
Just my opinion bro. D
