Default Which Supercharger for a C5?

I have been doing some research for a friend of mine who just purchased a C5 corvette. The car is an automatic and will see moderate track time. So far the car is stock.

I want to choose a blower for him that will allow room for his car to grow. I dont want to buy a baby blower and then have to sell it when he wants to go faster.

So far i have looked at the Novi 2000(1400), D1SC(1400 cfm), V-3 Si (1150)

I have also looked into the Magnacharger mp2300 tvs.

Which of these would have the most potential? What would you recomend using?

thank you for any information

personally i love the maggie and although i am NOT a vette fan...they look very sexxy with a maggie on them....your best bet tho might be to contact some of the sponsors on this site and ask them about the f/i issue..and where your buddy plans on going with his build?

He wants 500 rwhp and he will eventually throw some rods and pistons in the bottom and turn the boost up in the 700 range.

A&A and ECS' systems are the only two I would buy. Don't waste your money on any other kit.

The paxton novi 2000 is on Dougs car (owner of ECS) and its the fastest blown late model vette in the country. The D1SC will get you to 750rwhp easy on a built bottom end with supporting mods. The centri has the most potential.

I'm running a modified A&A kit with F1A on a built 347ci, making around 18# with ease.

Another vote for A&A or ECS kit.

Feel free to give us a call if you would like to discuss this in length, we offer a kit that is exactly what your looking for, and includes all the parts necessary for the install, and real track use. All the parts of the kit are the highest quality available, HD idlers over plastic in some kits, breather, catch can, spark plugs, 160 stat, etc are all part of the base kit. Be sure to look at what your getting, over just cost, you will end up purchasing the items we include in the long run once you find out why we include them!

This is why the fastest stock bottom end C5's & C6 (LS1,LS6,LS2) are all powered ECS Paxton kits, plus you have the ability to take the exact same kit with pulley changes into the 8 second barrier like myself and other customers have done. Naturally with other mods of course, but no wasted money on your forced induction purchase.

Thanks for considering ECS for your supercharging needs. 609-752-0321
