I have a DISC head unit off of a Mustang. I also picked up a J-bracket (with the ChevyChad mod). I have to reclock the internal slinger gear and I contacted procharger and found that the slinger bracket torque spec is 20 ft lbs, use red locktite.

I don't know the torque spec for the 1/4x20 housing back plate bolts or the torque spec for the 5/16x18 housing to bracket bolts. (Procharger Tech guy said he didn't have them on hand)

I was wondering if anyone had a list of torque specs?

Not that tight. Their easy to strip out. I go snug and then probably 1-1.5 more full turn.

did you check to make sure the rotation is the right way? i thought all mustangs use standard rotation and the f body's use reverse rotation?

I did check it, its reverse, and according to the clocking sheet copied below, the Mustang it came off of is Reverse as well.

(First letter is the clocking, second letter is the rotation)
