The elbow is from intakeelbows. It is built for clearing stock hoods, but because of the build of the firehawk hood, specifically the thick part by the cowl, it had to be cut. The idea was not to change the stock look of the car, especially since the Firehawk package was really just the hood and wheels.
The car will be headed back to NC (Greensboro) shortly, but don't expect many vids especially with the weather we have been having lately - 8 inches of snow this morning! Eventually the car might make it down to visit some old friends in Atlanta where there are plenty of fast cars to play with.

I see you guys build all these monster customer cars when are you guys gonna build another bad azz shop car again. Not trying to take away from your 2010 camaro but im talking a car like your old orange shop car. I think it would be cool to see you guys have a car to run in the lsx radial class. O and that was pretty sweet seeing you guys participate in the hot rod drag week with your old camaro a few years back. I watched you guys run it at a couple tracks.

I am in love with this car. If I could build something of this nature this would pretty much be it.
I have an interesting idea, but I am not sure on how it would work. I know of a relatively cheap way to run 12 injectors on the stock PCM with a piggy back system. I bet you could run two piggy back systems and run 16 injectors, but the price would go up.
Yes, the throttle body has no relation to the computer system as long as it is sending the same signals.
That has been proven many times over to lose power on FI setups.

You may be suprised at how well they work. I was able to get into the 9's with the 275's on my old LT1 camaro.

Jim can correct me if I get this wrong, but when the second set of injectors come on, BS3 fires both stages equally, so your mix is dependent on the difference in injector size. So a larger spread between injectors will result in a higher mixed fuel rating. W2W had a formula posted back in the day to calculate the resulting mix which is included below.
EO = ((SFR/(SFR+PFR))*HO)+((PFR/(SFR+PFR))*PO)
EO = Effective octane
PFR = Primary injector flow rate
SFR = Secondary injector flow rate
PO = Primary octane
HO = Secondary octane
If I remember correctly we went with 36 primaries and 75 secondaries which results in an effective octane around 108.5.
I have some more pics throughout the build which I can post over the weekend unless Larry or Jim beat me to it.

For example:
Easiest is to have the additional or secondary injectors fire as soon as you hit 80% duty cycle. thus the computer continues to feed the primary injectors the same pulsewidth, and anything additional to the secondaries.
Another and a bit more involved setup, is when the injectors reach 80%, the computer starts to bring online the secondaries and reduces the duty cycle of the primaries. This is much more involved because you have to setup the map manually, to how you want the injectors to come online. You can do any ratio you want as long as you set up the map. ie primaries can go from providing 80% duty cycle, to 0. Thus you can have the injectors further up stream providing all the fuel, and help cool the air at the same time.
and to OP, sometimes you have to play with the injector data/phasing to get the injectors to come in smoothly since the injectors are further upstream. once setup, you wont notice the transition in the graphs or butt-o-meter.
bad *** work btw!
