HP gain w/o inlet pipe
i had the car on the dyno yesterday, and for the last pull rem. the air intake and filter off the D1SC-it picked up around 30 hp and about a pound and a half boost-i use an F body inlet do to the tight area, so there is some rest. there, i'll prob fab up a diff inlet and use a 4" pipe, which is what i orig wanted
anyway

you kind of gave me an idea, i could add another inlet tube to it somewhere
i have a large filter on it now, it snakes thru the inner fender well to outside the car, looking for the coolest air
it sits right behind the radiator (vette style setup) so i fig the plastic was less prone to heat soak, but i could wrap it if i built something out of metal
i orig took a Procharger carb hat and welded a flat piece on it, cut a hole, and welded a ring for the hose to mount on the Procharger, but it didnt work out to good, still just had the 3.5" hose end
