Default Best way to lower compression on motor

Ok well im currently in the process of rebuilding my motor with a forged 348 from speed inc with vavle reliefs, with GTP Stage 2+ LS6 heads with a relatively large came, havent decided on what yet, and a rather healthy dose of juice. But in a year or so I plan on going the FI by adding a CAS twin turbo kit and a TH400. My question is what is the best way when I redo the motor a second time to lower the compression without wasting alot of money? Should I get -8.6cc pistons put in the motor or maybe look into 6.0 liter heads or the AFR 76cc heads assuming they make what they claim? So to lower compression later on should I do heads or pistons? I plan on running quite a bit of boost.

get pistons that will net you 9.5:1 on regular ls1 heads, this way all you have to do to lower compression is get 6.0 heads or the AFRs. if you want to bump up the compression , wither mill the ls1 heads or get some 5.3 heads.

don't think of getting a thicker gasket to lower compression, all you will end up with is less power and more detonation ( yes, more) due to the fact that you won't have a squish area.
