Since this thread was already risen from the dead I will add my results, swapped maxxed out D1sch for an f1a on same engine, same altitude (Denver) and went from 765 to 880hp (880 was at 6100rpm, running out of fuel on e85). The D1sch had a filter while the f1a has a screen (although

That's a huge increase! It would be interesting to see what the difference would be if you ran the same filter on the F-1A. Bob

E85 gives a nice bump. Wish it was more available in Dallas area as only a handful of places carry the stuff.

Could you provide some details on your setups? Motor, cam, intercooler, intake, meth, pulley combo. 765 is great power out of a D1sc.

This blower has found it's way to my little 408 now. I'm pretty sure there's at least another 100 horsepower to be had even over the 880 that's it's already shown. I'm actually shooting for ~1000 RWHP with the F1-A without having to take stupid chances with the tune or RPM the motor is turned to. We're going to run C16 spraying meth for the intercooling effect to try to maximize what this little 9" housing supercharger can provide. The engine has already made 809 to the tires with 110 fuel/meth with a P1SC-1 head unit. In case you think that was a "happy" dyno, the car backed it up at the track.

8.96 @ 154 in and out of the throttle on 2nd full pass ever down a 1/4 mile.

If u made both have the same psi at same rpm seems like the peak HP would be the same on the exact same setups. I don't think the same pulley combo would equal out to the same PSI. To get the same PSI out of each blower u would have different pulley sizes on each blower. If u maxed out both blowers u should get more PSI and HP for the F1a. I'm thinking if both maxed out about 75 hp more for the F1a.
