Thanks for the links. Pics where to dark to really make anything out though.

419hp and 470tq at 7.5lbs seems low compared to some of the other kits out there..not to mention it peaked at 5k. Granted other kits are dropping off after 5.5k but at least they are at the 500-600 hp mark on pump gas. They said in the thread that they are having it dyno tuned, but im not sure if those numbers where before or after the quoted numbers. I think my biggest worry with this kit is that the turbos are big enough to be in the LS1's effeciency range.

if they peak at 5000 then they are definately NOT big enough. the guys making 5-600 hp are spinning the motor farther than 5000rpm. this kit sounds like something for a stock car that never plans to upgrade.

I talked to these guys last week. If you want their kit, you have to send your car to Illionoise (or was it Indiana??) to have them install it. Total cost would be about $7500 + shipping if you couldnt drop your car off yourself.

It all depends on how much power you are looking for. If they peak at around 5000 then they are sized pretty well for a stock cammed LS1. The Incon kit makes peak power at around the same rpm, just like a stock NA LS1 does.

No they won't be good for huge gobs 700-800 rwhp of power but no kits on the market are either. Even the Turbotechnologies or QMP kits with the T-76 (max ~900 fwhp) aren't running efficiently above at 600 fwhp.

Yeah this kit is one of the most impressive ive seen..priced right too..only thing is they havent got the a/c back on the shop car yet so Im waiting to see how it turns out. They said they where going to wait until spring to put it back on though You speak of "stock cammed" cars peaking at 5000k what type of cam would move the peak further up?

Sorry I didn't see this earlier guys, normally don't post here. Our kit prototype has now been successfully road tested and daily driven by the owner of the car for a few months with 0 problems. The car did make 418 horse and 470 torque at the tires on 7.5 psi with pump gas. This was a bone stock LS1 with a 6 speed. Keep in mind, the Corsa catback it has is not very good for a turbo car and the numbers were also on a Mustang Dyno which consistently reads lower. This car was also "DETUNED" as it was a prototype and also daily driven. The turbo's are GT28 dual ball bearing, water cooled turbos which will support 350 horse each but can be upgraded to support 450 each. This kit was not meant to be an all out race kit but rather a great performing street kit. The reason you have to bring the car here for now to get one is because we refuse to mail order a kit until we have successfully reproduced it and installed it on at least 2 more cars. This is for the customers benefit. The 6k price you posted is correct. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.

I was wondering why you guys chose the 28. The GT28RS is rated for 250-320 hp and and a 1.8-2.7 liter engine. It seems like you started very small right off the bat. Is this a packaging issue or a cost issue?

The GT35 that incon used in its base kit are rated 260-510 hp and 2.5 to 3.2 liters. I know there is a lot more to it than that, but they seem a good match to the LS1 and have performed from street cars down into the nines already.
