No, the big advantage is being able to turn to turn it up further than 4-bolt setups without lifting the heads.

Beasst - nice setup, know it's been a long time coming for you too.

And yeah 8 to 1 is pretty low for compression but heard different opinions wether it actually can be noticed in everyday driving. I went with 9.5 to one still manageable with alc injection on pump gas.But as you said the combo gave you half point or so lower than you wanted.

Are these six bolt heads as well. Thats one big advantage to the LSX setup.
Anyway enjoy your toy!
Yes they are 6-bolt heads that was the main reason to use a LSX block. Also the reasons its a 408 are: 1. I already had a 4" crank so I didn't want to get another one and 2. wanted the maximum cylinder wall thickness.

They are C6 exhaust manifolds. I added some pics of the piping, but I'll have to get it up in the air to get better pics. the charge pipes from the manifolds run along the outside of the wheel wells and the downpipes feed over the k-member on both sides.

Rode in this car the other day and man does it pull hard. Spool time is very very minimal starting out very low in the rpm range. Car has full exhaust on it and is deadly quiet while cruising even wide open I didnt think it was that loud. If I remember right it has a hooker exhaust on it.

Griffin radiator. Underhood temps arent that bad.

The downpipes run over the k-member and back through a hooker catback. the pic was before the downpipes were finished. Its pretty quiet.

The fuel runs into the back of both rails and then join into the FPR.

Pretty creative. Are your turbos supported or is the charge piping holding them up?

Read the thread dude " We dyno'd it on 4.5# and made 550 and on 9.5# and made 675 so we should be able to make some good power once I turn it up to 15 and 20#.
