Meth Injection on STS Kit

I am looking at putting methanol injection on a 2002 TA with newer style STS kit. Was wondering where others have put the nozzle since it is all silicone after the MAF to the throttle body? I attached a pic for reference. Also does anyone have any pics of their installs? Looking for pump location and such. Thanks

you can put it on the silicone hose. Just put washer on each side of the silicone tube so that it doesnt pull through then put some red loctite on the nut so that it doesnt back off.

just make the hole for the nozzle a tad smaller than the nozzle itself where you have to actually push the nozzle through the silicone, when you tighten the nut down (with the washers on each side) it will squeeze/compress the silicone even tighter around the meth nozzle.

Funny this was almost 3 years ago. I went with alkycontrol kit and installed the nozzle in the silicone elbow. He uses a combination of washers and a nut to sandwich the elbow between them. The kit has held up fine with no issues. I don't put many miles on it though and probably on have put 3 gallons through the system. No complaints.

Devil's own and snow sell mounts to do what you are wanting. Inside mounts means that you install the nozzle from the inside, and outside installs from the outside.

You should be pretty impressed with improvements. I added my kit mostly for safety so only made small changes to tune to get AFR where it needed to be without adding more boost. I have not been back on the dyno to see the actual HP improvements it made but it was significant enough that I break traction a lot sooner and can really feel it. I really didn't expect that kind of gain. One of these days I am going to make the switch to SD to see If I like it better. I already have the 2 bar sensor that came with the alkycontrol kit I can use so just have to hook it up and spend a ton of time dialing things in.

IF you are running meth, it wouldn't be a bad idea to move the nozzle back towards the turbo. A long straight run of pipe would be good for atomizing the fluid.
