Default Where to mount a FPR for return style system?

So I'm out in the garage pondering where to mount the FPR included in my Nasty Performance fuel system.

What are the best places that you guys have seen the FPR mounted before?

I've got mine mounted on the cowl trim between the brake master cyclinder and intake. I'll try and post up a pic later if you'd like.

This is just one idea for you. You can mount it virtually anywhere.

That's not bad actually.

Where'd you put your alternator in that build? Have you gotten that far yet?

I'm ready to throw my alternator across the street. I'm just having terrible luck getting it mounted with any bracket. I've got one that'll "work" but... I had to take the plastic cover off the back of the alt to get it to clear the oil filler neck.

My way old setup using parts from Nasty Nate..... -8an feed. Old feed as the new return to the tank. FP Reg sat on the old metal feed line. used a tube, nut, sleeve setup and worked awesome.

Ideally you want to have 12" or more of fuel line from the rail end to the regulator. On high HP applications the pulsations of the injectors can influence the regulator if it is mounted close to the rail.

That is a good piece of information as well. I'm running -6 to the regulator, -8 for feed. So I'll be sure to have at least 1' of hose between the regulator and the rails.

my -8 feed goes directly into the rail on the drivers side, then runs across the front, back down the passenger side and then thru a -6 feed to the regulator, then -6 back to the tank
