Just an update.

got it dynoed. runs pretty strong, still need to get power brakes on it because its pretty hard to launch off vacuum. but it pulls like a freight train up top. Currently set at only 10psi until i get the chassis squared away

Also chopped off the 3 bolt flanges from the manifolds and replaced them with 3" v-bands to help everything package a little nicer and make it easier to disassemble

what alternator bracket is that?

Are you aiming for a specific et or power number? Nice build. Sounds like it spools up pretty quick.

Not yet. being a slushbox. Numbers dont mean as much to me as ET. It only dynoed around 450/450, but clicked off a 132 trap. Just shows how much a 4l80 eats up

I know the feeling man, mine dyno'd 480/500 thru an unlocked 4L80 (made 616/634 with the M6). I can't wait to hit the track and see where its at next month. The car feels faster with the auto than it did with the M6, probably because the converter lets it get up into the powerband quicker and it hooks better now in first and second than it did with the M6 spinning its *** off.

Sounds Good. I would never know that car had all that power underneath if I saw it parked in a lot somewhere..

Well, having a change of plans. Found a 2000 Saleen Mustang at an auction and snatched it up.

Im still debating what to do with the whole Saleen stuff. I really want to swap it out for 03-04 Cobra stuff, but from all the badging and plates on it, it seems like a real Saleen. I may just swap out the Hood...

Seems to have been a race car at some point. Had a bolt-in roll bar, already has subframes, and there is a nitrous mount in the trunk. But it was missing the engine, trans, driveshaft, and gas tank! PERFECT!!!! The interior has some stupid stuff painted on the dash that will be getting swapped out, but it is clean!

I already got a new AJE K-member as I kind of want to keep my notch a roller at the moment. I may just toss the 4.8 in it im taking out of my silverado and use it to putt around town when im done

Current plans are for TeamZ Front suspension with Strange Struts. Team Z Rear control arms upper and lower. Weld the Torque boxes up, then swap in my 5.3 and 4l80e with the turbo kit just as it is in the fox. Only differences are that I will be modding my wastegate location for better balance, and adding a BOV. Gonna get the heat hooked up as well!!! It will be nice to have heat and a radio in the toy once again.
