Default Crank Pinning--Newb Needs Help

OK guys...I have the crank pinning fixture. Just want to make sure this looks right. None of the bolts in the fixture come close to hitting the crank when they are threaded in. I am not sure if they are supposed to or not. I have the fixture pushed all the way in to where it bottoms out. What keeps the fixture from turning...the crank bolt? If so...I threaded it in, but it doesn't come close to tightening down on the fixture. Do I need to use some sort of spacer? Pics below...

Bolt doesn't tighten down against fixture:

I actually mad a write up on this a while back. Search for "crank pinning write-up". Or somthing along those lines.

But anyway, you have the right idea there. But you can't use that long as procharger bolt lol. Use your stock bolt to tighten it up. Also those bolts that thread into the fixture are to keep the fixture from going to far up on the crank. You should be able to snug it up on there until the bolts hit the end of the crank.

Doh, I didn't even think about that being a procharger bolt. So, after reading your write up (thanks for that and thanks DanDan for finding it)...the bolt pulls the fixture further down on the crank? It seems like it doesn't have any more room to move as it is bottoming out on the oil pump...best I can tell. I will get a stock bolt and just see what it does when I tighten it down. Guess I could use a space in there too, but I don't want to mess anything up.

It should slide up far enough by hand. If I remember correctly the fixture isn't as thick as a balancer hub.
