That light-weight 9" from Billingsley didn't hurt either, I dropped about 150 lbs over my 12 bolt with that swap

Haven't seen any other GTOs so I might be one of the first. ( Actually its my wifes )

2004 Pontiac GTO A4
MagnaCharger (only mod so far, just got it)
400 rwhp/400rwtq

Mods to be done:
LTH ( once someone release a good set for the GTO)
Catback to go with the LTH
Update the tune from the installer with something more agressive.

Trust me I am dieing to get out to Rockingham dragstrip, or now I see Mooresville, nc has a 1/4 mile strip and has a test and tune night Sept 23rd so looks like I just might be able to get some qtr mile times in the signature. May just make my buddy drive the SS so I can get some times with the cam also.

Unfortunately it is a daily driver so I like the std stall with the blower and I cant get it to the track ever again without fitting a cage and chute.

makes for a fun street car though

Finally found out how much my PIG weighs....... 3940 with me in it.............. i didnt take the stereo out or the jack so its the same weight as my 11.64 pass...... Time for it to go on a diet.........

chris i think there was allready a ruling on that earlier this year

dont shoot the messenger but i think the car has to be street driveable and an ls1 body.. something like that in a post a while back.. i think

It does not matter if it's a 96 body or a 98 body.

And as far as streetable goes, I am sure they can drive it on the street just as much as Harlan or Ronnie Duke has.

I love the fact the Chris is so worried about everybody going faster than Harlan yet he still brings nothing to the table.. I would be nice if you could at least crack the top 10 before worring about the number one guy...

Look, it's a 96 body, if they wanted to swap on a 98 front clip it would not make one whit of difference in the performance. I could see if folks had distress if for example a car was a 3rd gen, some of them can easily get to like 3000 raceweight.
