Modular turbo is the a chance you guys have gotten the install directions put together yet? If nothing else if I could see what EXACTLY needs to be done to put the kit on the car I might take the gamble and run with this kit once it is finished.

No A2A plans bro.
If you want A2A then you will have to modify our kit.
There are many reasons why we decided to use A2W, and that has been covered in earlier posts.
FYI mightymouse is using A2W and his intercooler is about the same size as ours is.

Ok guys this is just a little update.
I know that some of you are beginning to wonder
is there ever going to be a kit.
We are very close to rapping things up.
The K members and motor mounts are going
out to be powder coated next week.
After I get them back, Rob will post a full spread
of pic’s and details. As far as colors are concerned
It is a little up in the air right now.
For some reason Red seams to be the default color
for F-Body suspension parts. I personally like Black & Silver hammered finish. But if the powder coater is spraying black and I can get the parts done faster they
will be black ,if he is spraying red the parts will be red
for this first run.
For those of you that is serious about buying a kit
you will need to let Rob know if you are going to run a mass air meter. I have had 3½” pipes made that go to the throttle body. These pipes are long enough that all I have to do is roll a hose bead on the end for guys that
are running a speed density setup “no meter” and if
you are going to use your meter I will cut the pipe back
and send the extra couplers and clamps for the meter.
The Cad files, CNC code and fixtures have been finished
for months. Most of what I have been doing the last 2-3 months is stockpiling parts, fine tuning spreadsheets and setting up the shop to build these kits in an efficient
manner. This has been one hell of a journey to say the least.
The last 7-8 years I have been a government vender. I made parts and done prototype engineering and consulting.
About a month ago, I called a meeting with the engineers and big wigs that I worked with to tell them that I was no longer available for hire.
I love fast cars like all you guys do. To walk away from
a solid deal like I had is a little scary. I told my wife that
a first class turbo kit for these cars will keep the shop busy but it has to be top notch. That is what has taken so long, working out all the little details.
One thing before I go.
I am seriously considering shipping these kits truck freight on a pallet. It will make things a lot easier on me.
Are you guys ok with that?
Please no PM’s.
Rob is your retailer for this kit. Please contact him.
I hope I have not over stepped my boundaries with the mod’s on here.
You guys have a good evening.
Chris

I think I probably speak for everyone when I say that if the kit is as good as implied, we dont give a shat about how its shipped
Im very interested in seeing this kit. While I def wont be one of the first customers, I would LOVE to have a/c and not have to "babysit the temp guage" lol.

Just to let you know, I might be back on the bandwagon about the kit.
Glad to see you are almost done Chris, I know its been alot of work but once you send off these kits it will pay off. As far as the MAF or No MAF thing, I asked Geoff@EPS about that and he says he likes to tune on low boost with the MAF to get all of the fueling and timing correct for part throttle. Then he uses those tables in SD to carry him on high boost tuning for WOT. So, as far as you making the pipe for with or with out the MAF I would need it both ways so Geoff could tune my car. I will ask him again to verify that I heard him correctly because we talked a long time on the phone and I might have left out some things.

Thanks for the compliment.
That was the whole idea as soon as we decided to drift away from a bugdet kit and instead make a full-on top of the line kit "well thought out" is basically our mission statement on this project.
I can't wait for the community to get their hands on it.
