I did my turbo kit myself. Built motor, new heads. Bought a built th400. Mwc fab 9. Full mwc suspesion, Mwc front end kit. Mwc cage, Pst drive shaft, alot of fuel, re doing all the brake lines, and fuel lines, drag brakes all 4 corners, drag wheels, ect ect... I dont even want to know what i have into it.. 20k seems really cheap to build these cars. I would say more like 30, plus the price of the car.

I have been building the car for 3 years now, and always did planned upgrades, for a long term goal. As of right now it seems like it was a great idea. I guess ill see when the car is running.

Only way to go kinda fast for relatively cheap and reliably would be a cam with a shot of the juice.

A loan?LOL. I'm a broke *** firefighter.... I have been building the car for about 3 years thus far. Should be done this winter now that I am converting to an LS2 and getting even more outrageous with this thing. It can be done for less money no doubt. I just like to overbuild everything. A blessing and a curse.

Slowly but surely you will get it put together.

With the Kytp kit some modification to your car will have to be done such as move the alternator up top. I don't know if the kit is still built like that.

The Modular Turbo kit is supposed to go on the car and not have to move a thing. It also has an air-to-water intercooler so you won't have to cut the front cap of you car to get airflow for the air-to-air intercooler.
This is no longer the case with the new kits josh at KYTP is offering. None of the accessories move with the kit he is building me. It keeps a/c as well

That's good to hear. It's a pain in the *** moving that **** and getting the bracket to work right for the alt. The less modification that has to be performed before the kit goes on means your car will be up and running just that much faster.
