Sway me - F1a

I have aster's bracket on the way. It is awesome, gives much better belt wrap than even the SDCE. And the SDCE setup is expensive, requires your old bracket, and takes forever to get to/from. Aster's is the way to go and you can get a bigger crank pulley to max out the f1a without belt slip. PM him for the pictures you wont be disappointed

So after a call to procharger, it's becoming increasingly apparent making this supercharger cog driven is the way to go. Anybody have any input on a cog setup? I really want to keep all factory accessories, but I simply don't know enough to make any judgments.
Edit: never mind, refined my search terms a bit. Looks like I can do an SDCE tensioner or pm Aster for his custom tensioner?

Are you talking about the ones that procharger supplies?
When I called procharger, they said I should be fine if I chose to run those, but sounded like the front mount IC would be the better choice. I need to find out more before I make a real decision on that however. If there are substantial gains to going with the FMIC, then sure, I will do it, but if not, the twins seem to be the easier route, no?

I'm surprised you are against meth injection. A progressive kit w/ 1gal resovoir will last you a while unless you have an extremely heavy right foot. You will keep your intake temps much lower and you can add so much more timing since its pretty much like having 110 octane in the tank. Keep in mind that you might only be one bad tank of gas away from detonation also, which meth will save you from.

Somewhat related, and brought up in another thread here in the FI section, about overheating etc. This is an Arizona car, and I have had instances where cam only, as I am right now, my temps have gone over the 230-240 range and I have had to shut down (God damn you Sonic drive-in).
Would meth injection help at all as far as heat issues? It lowers intake temperature, sure, but does it help in any capacity at all for lowering operating temperature of the engine and supercharger? Noob question, I know, but I will only learn if I ask.
