I'll be pickin up a brand new stock 1997 LT1 radiator from O'Riellys. Just checked & they are only $110 out the door with lifetime warranty. Not sure what fan set-up yet, I"m waiting on ChevyChad to get some miles on his set-up first & if it lasts the summer without a fan failure I'll probably run what he is running.

Does anyone see any issue with running this griffen radiator compared to the griffen that is always recommended?

This is the one always recommended...

Looks like the one i have access to is 1.5" narrower and .5" taller. Does anyone see a problem with this?

No it will be fine if you are still wanting to do a stand up situation. My a/c condensor is about a half inch taller than my radiator and I'm not running into any problems. I think you will cool better with the other radiator though as there is more surface area.
