I'm still on a 6-rib but I machined down one of the stand off post's and added an extra idler pulley to get more belt wrap on the head unit pulley, seemed to work so far I was making almost 11lbs on the dyno and no belt slip issues yet. I had a belt alignment issue to fix but as far as belt slip there was none.

I agree, the belt should never come off. With proper belt alignment and a new belt, the six rib kit should not give any problems at 6 to 8 psi of boost. Bob

The 6 rib really is a waste of time with these systems, even at mild boost levels (~8 psi) the 6 rib will slip. The 8 rib is definitely worth upgrading to.
As for throwing the belt everyone above has it right. The alignment is off. Usually caused by missing the appropriate shim on the supercharger between head unit and the pulley. The 6 rib is a different shim width than the 8 rib I believe I was told. Check to see if the shim is in place, if not get with Procharger and they will know the exact one for that setup.
Personally even when I was mild with the P1 I knew the Procharger bracket wasn't going to be ideal for me so I made my own. Link is in my sig if you want to check it out. It wasn't the cheapest option, but it has maxed out D1's without skipping a beat.

Sounds like something might be misaligned slightly. Alignment is very crucial. Also check to make sure the bracket is perfectly flat too......
