Default Finally got the car on the road again.

Even though I was just changing storage spots It felt great though, getting honked at and people throwing the One guy even held up a pic of his old school muscle haha. It was fun while it lasted, back to storage until I have the money to get some nice heads and a fuel upgrade. Anyway, thought I'd share a couple pics since I havn't been on here in a while and I miss it. Enjoy!

And for you guys that don't know me or remember my build, 402 lsx with an F-2.

I havn't dynoed since I put in the new neil chance converter but it made 800rwhp with a slipping vig. Can't wait to race it again but for now it just looks pretty sitting in storage.

Thanks a lot guys. I'm glad my set-up is still pretty impressive. I was starting to worry that it was going to be old news now that these lsx set-ups keep getting better and better. I was hoping 1000rwhp set-ups were not the norm these days because that's the way it looked like it was heading about a year ago. Maybe in another year or two I'll be able to afford to finish it, get that 1000rwhp dyno and get it track tested. I'm moving out to the country so at least I'll be able to take it out on the road a little more without having to worry about cops all the time.

Anyway, thanks again for the kind words, makes me happy I'm hanging on to it and not selling it.

Nope still sitting in storage. I would like to get it out in my garage now that I live somewhere I can take it out on the country roads without having to worry about a cop around every corner but I just havn't had the time to clean up the garage.

Thanks, I love the intake as well. One speed shop told me it probably isn't making me any extra power with my set-up so I should sell it and get heads with that money but I just love how it looks too much. I'll keep it and add heads when I can.

I can't afford heads and the fuel system it needs to support this much power. It's only got stock 317 heads and a 950hp fuel system that's maxed at 114%. I can drive it around but I could break something very easily racing it the way it is.

It will be a while before I get back into it, I have a wife and little girl now so they are my top priority. As soon as I can get a little ahead in the bills department I'll be back wrenching again.

And this vid shows it pretty good plus you can hear it. Even just low rpms it sounds like it wants to kill somebody.
