Questions Ok first please forgive me. I know the questions I have have been answered but I've searched for hours and can't exactly find what I'm looking for. I've done all motor build before but on Ricers. I've picked up my first LS1 car and I'm trying to figure V-8 tuning out. I plan on going with a Procharger P1SC setup. Want to make good power and retain street manners. I'm wondering with the stock 10.1:1 CR these engines have if I need to go with say a set of 317 heads to lower the cr some for 8-10 lbs of boost. I'm planning on running the Ligenfelter blower cam with the setup. My goal is 450-475whp. Any help you could give a newbie booster would be great. Thanks.

there are tons of ls1 guys running the stock motor with stock heads with turbo/supercharger and making great numbers. there are also tons of ls2 guys (10:9:1) that runs turbos with stock motors with turbos that run great at 8psi.
