I'm not boosted yet but I have LS7 lifters in my combo & have had for over 3yrs now & almost 50k miles. Not a single issue, running 7.400" hardened pushrods. I have bounced the limiter a couple times on accident during this time as well. Never had a issue (knock on wood, LOL)

I should note that we NEVER reuse a set of these lifters. It's easier to discard a set of LS7 lifters than a set of the Morels.

I had a ls7 go bad on me after 4000 miles, it split open like a mushroom...
on my old setup( trq v3 ) with 7.4's, I might just go with comp r's this time

May sound silly but I would try ebay or craigslist to see if anyone has a few or even one for sale. Sometimes I will find parts really cheap because there is only one in a package of 3, etc but still brand new ready to go. I dont know if the stealership will just do one but you can always call and find out, some are more "helpful" than others so it might be good to call around.
The classified section on here might be the ticket as well

How good are the Comp R's compared to the LS7 lifters. Im using the LS7 lifters now and they seem to be doing fine.
