So ive got a 98 camaro, with an 03 ls6 from a z06 vette. The motor is essentially stock, nearly 50 000 km's on it now, long tubes and an intake. I want to do a remote turbo on it, but i fear my compression ratio is too high to turbo. In stock form it does around 10:1 yes ? Would i be able to boost this a little, or am i playing with fire here. Im thinking 65mm turbo or so...maybe 5-6lbs boost ? Let me know. thanks

A stock LS6 motor would be able to handle 5 or 6 pounds of boost. Maybe a little bit moe with methanol injection.

Z06 motors will last. Don't go to far with turbo. 7lb's boost max. to much can melt the motor.
