I'm sure most turbo shops can easily get them. The LS crowd doesn't really use them too much. It's mostly the DSM and EVO guys, especially since somebody made a housing to adapt the inlet to TD05.

Why not a precision billet 76? Journal bearings aren't that expensive and the turbo would still have room left in it if you wanted more...

I'm really on a tight budget, are those around the $600-$700 range?

They are not. around the $1300 range... If it were me, I would work this into my budget though. For what you get, it is worth the money.

TC76-78 with the Modded turbine wheel.... Can't argue with that. FI has them for 1K much better turbo than any MP turbo. Will last a lot longer. SOrry just read all the last posts and it looks like every 100 dollars counts on the turbo and you cannot afford a turbontetics unit?

Slow4.8 Would probably beg to differ. He kept killing them. Im not sure why but he Had to get a water cooled one to make it live. But every car/truck has different issues i suppose.

Yeah, I killed 5 Turbonectics units on my Grandnational, and the vendor would'nt stand behind one @ $1500 a pop, so now I run a oil/water cooled Percision unit now for 3years.
