I just run cheap blue stuff from AutoZone.
-20*F stuff is 70% water, 30% methanol.

I ran -40*F purple stuff from Menards which is closer to a 50/50 ratio and I noticed a little bit of knock on the logs at 20 PSI. I can't confirm that it's actually 50/50 since the consistency is actually a little different, but the temperature rating does indicate more methanol. Its possible that it has a lot of additives or a different base material and a much lower actual water %.

Swapped back to the 70/30 stuff which is actually cheaper, and it went away completely. I even got 30 PSI on a couple of occasions with the 70/30 and didn't register any knock on pump gas.
