Yeah stock clutch wouldn't barely hold stock power. Good luck on that. I would agree should be 500 to maybe 550rwhp if clutch holds the power. I would actually be putting in that tex pre dyno.

Id love to put the tex on there but Im still new to manuals so I was learning on the stocker. Theres no way I could do a clutch and break it in, within a week.

Ive never put in a clutch but if I do mess it up on the dyno next saturday, Ill be putting the clutch in on sunday. :p I was planning on going to the track the following Friday, so hopefully this all goes well.

Atleast on the street its been holding up ok, I havent seen anything unusual. I would guess if the clutch was slipping I would see the RPMs get a little erratic right?

do not install a big tire on it and you should be fine, my rear end took numerous 1/4 mile passes at 12psi with no problems, you won't hook, but wont break

A great test of clutch is your 60fts either on in car timer like g tech or at track .
My 97 talon with " race clutch" when breaking it in at low boost was doing like 1.8 60fts on in car timer.
Got like a 13.3 at 108 with a 1.8 60ft. So upped the boost like a 100 hp and figured now should be doing like 12.3 at 118 maybe even tap an 11 if could get 1.6 60ft.

It ran first run again in car timer but accurate have taken it to track a 13.3 at 108 or so again with a 2.6 or something 60ft. Then second run it was like a 2.8 60ft and it was really just revving not going anyway. That was all she wrote. clutch blew apart shortly after that on way home.

Simillar experience in my 99TT pre turbo . Killed stock clutch in first month or two had my new car .Bone stock. Hard to get the ls1 to not bog or spin. So was slipping it. That killed it quick.

Then put in new performance clutch and did cam and headers. Car got slower not faster. mph was sucking. 60fts again in car tester not track were not great but was on street tires . Finally put on some nitto drags and the times were no better. Took car apart and new clutch was fried. Something went wrong with master let clutch drag itself and burn itself up.

Anyway stock clutch at this power level.. dont think it will last long at all on the dyno. But hey as you said you got a new clutch ready to go. Also thought the tex single doesn't have break in period or maybe that was my text twin?

I also say clutch will spin .. I made 600whp on 10 psi w/ a mp and a stock lq4 w/ ls1 intake.. If you dial it in you could see 550+

Better say a few hail mary's for your clutch! Good luck on the dyno. Do'nt get too greedy on timing or boost on stock pistons.

450rwhp. For how many pulls well...

I dropped 30hp on the 2nd run and by the 3rd run the clutch was gone, but I managed to drive home.
