I had six speed 96ta, 97 ta and 99 ta, and many of my talons had manual trans and so did my fieros. Swapped over the 99tt this season and coudln't be happier. I had dicked around in past a lot with clutches, slaves, masters, drill mods, and was sick of missing shifts, having it not go into gear under high power, hitting the limiter, hard to modulate bog and spin. I was sick of it in our heavy traffic and unsynced traffic lights. Sick of my clutch when it got grabby and sick of trying to drive up onto hoists .I had tex twin. Pedal pressure was good on that one and it did seem to grab, maybe too good as said it seemed to get more grabby as it got hot.
Now enjoy my driving around the city. Heavy traffic is no big deal, sitting at lights is no big deal. With the stall get a great launch and can build more boost more easily than a manual. No more worries about misshifting, hitting the limiter, just let the computer take over and concentrate on keeping the car shiny side up.
