I am going with a F1 and a cog pulley set up. I sold the d1sc.
Do you think 760-800 rwhp is possible with this head unit?
my set-up...
-ARE 385 cid forged stroker motor. 8.8:1 cr.
-ARE stage 3 heads 2.055/1.60
-O-ring/copper gasket.
-Slp LT headers, no cats and elec. dump
-Complete fuel system... rails, fp reg, twin intake pumps, fuel lines, 83lb/hr injectors.....
-gen 7 dfi
-6spd/12 bolt car.

the F1r would require a different bracket, some cutting of the inside fender and moving the radiator forward a few inches. F1r is a 950-1000 plus rwhp nlower. Its rated at 1500 flywheel hp. The f1 is rated at 1050 flywheel hp.

My radiator is not as raked as stock anymore, the bottom is still in the factory location but the top is pull to the front a bit, that's why I would be able to fit a 36mm cog setup I think without problem.
If you pull a better number than me I will contact Vortech and get a YSi and snap it off.

with that motor I hope you see 25psi but I dont think you will without really overspiniing the blower. I have made 18 psi with a smaller pulley and the blower was only 2000 rpm from max...Good luck to getting your goal.if I where you I would get the F1R. it will fit the same bracket, you will just have to move the the radiator a bit.

Why such a low shift RPM on your 10.30 pass?????
Speed Inc is placing the Order on Monday... So I can still change to the F1r What do you guys think f1 or F1r?????

I definitely think the F1 and your combination could produce 750-800rwhp (if there are no belt issues). The twin intercoolers will be somewhat inefficient at that level though.
With a blower and that kind of power it's going to be hairy on the street. Everytime you hit the gas, it's gonna blaze one for the nation

I know my twins will basically be maxed out if we get the right amount of boost out of the pulley setup...........they don't really do the job for the high hp applications......

INTMD8 - What else needs to be done to stop belt slipping issues. Ill be going to a cog? The crank is keyed and the blower pulley is bolted to an ATI crank pulley.

If the F1 can get the job done then you should hit nice numbers, but I hear that the F1's do not make as much power as the Vortech YS blowers. I don't even have the YSi, which should be good for a lot more power than I am at now.
I do hear good things about the ATI F1R.

The f1 is rated at more power and the YS is. A D1r or F1r is in the same class as a YSi. The F1r is to much for my A/C having Street car...
