Thanks. Its been my dream for since I was about 17 to have a realy bad *** thirdgen. I've owned a dozen or so. THis one has been great to me in the 4 years i have owned it and hopefully it'll be way gooder with the forged 6.0 vs the stock LS1 and the front mount turbo setup vs the STS crap. I just hope this car doesnt kill me like it seems like its going to do.

Car runs! I did a Jig when it started with no probs. Heres a short vid of it running. Got a wrong fitting going to the turbo so gotta change that before any shake down. Thnaks to Matt (donkeypunch), my good bud Wop Josh, Ed at Va Speed, Shawn Ramey, LS1tech, Ebay (is da ****), and of course my wife Nicole who has put up with this the last 8 months. Hope to have the car out this weekend.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fTmONQeBU80 Sorry about the quality I have a pretty badass camera didnt realize the lense fogged over from bringing it from inside.

Its looking good man, its gunna be a couple more years until I start my Turbo LSX swap since I just had this sbc358 motor built plus i gotta save up some money and start doing more research and gatherin parts. Ive got a good jump on what Ill need and what kind of engine, Im lookin to go with a stroked LSX and probably a 76mm turbo but that all can change.

*update*
As much as I dont want to I'm dropping the motor out of the IROC to fix a few things, tuck some things, and just some normal cleanup. The fitting I had welded by Va Speed is in a bitch f a spot and I cross threaded the **** out of the fitting and after alot of finesse work it seems I just cant get it to thread right.
-So anybody who is familiar out there think i should just go with a tubular K-Member and be done with it. Or just take the pan and get a new bung welded a little farther up so it doesn interfere and leave stock K-Member in there.

Next need to figure out why my temp gauge doesnt work. Turn car on and I get nothing. Could the gauge be bad? I suck at wiring so any help would be great.

-With wiring I just got my wire relocation kit in and I'm little lost as to were to start. All i know is the battery goes to the trunk and the power wire goes to the Starter? and another hot wire from the Alternator to the battery?

-GOing to pull me hotside off and have everything powder coated. (any place better than any other?) I'va had stuff done a precision do they do good ceramic coating?

-Genral clean up, Going to try and clean the whole engine bay weld up some holes and then flat black the whole thing again.

-Any LSx guys know if you can powder coat an LS intake or should I just sand it and paint it myself?

-For those that have followed my build is there anything I should do or upgrade while its all out again?

-Final note i might be picked up another complete LS drivtrain with a 4l80e. so as much as I never wanted to the ROC might go auto with a stall and be done with it.

Thanks for any help guys.

Forgot to update this Page: here is the last months worth of update:
These wheels going on.

Swapping K-Members got a great deal on it and A-Arms.
Diffrence in X-Members

Cleanin the engine bay up. Sanding the black down going to paint it body color now.

Fixed the stupid oil return bung.

Now in the process of finishing the engine bay running the wires for the battery relocation in the trunk.

A-Arms on K-Member

And on motor.

Car is getting taken to a shop to paint the engine bay the same color as the Body. The black just wasnt cutting it for me. Also switching heads to 243 heads. All in All hope to have it at Virginia Speed to Dyno tune some time next month.
