Default Twinturbo help needed

Trying to plan out my future build. I need turbos for a 500 ci lsx engine that will support 1200 rwhp. What are the best turbos to get and what size?

You dont need 500 ci or anywhere near that for 1200 rwhp. My setup will be at that power level very soon. Single 88mm with a 370 ci motor. I just saved you like $20K. Send me one and we'll call it even.

What block you using ?

But for a World Warhark or a lsx with a 9.2 deck id keep it around 427 For a high hp FI engine.

We are making close to 2000 at the flywheel on Steve's LSX 422 with twin 78's just for comparison and the cam and driveability is VERY mild.

I'm looking at this motor http://www.erlperformance.com/erl-500-ci-turnkey

Well customized for boost. If I can get more hp then 1200rwhp on pump gas I'll take that to

Wow thats a sick motor but i think you can make 1200+ rwhp more reliably with a smaller CI engine. Why not just go lsx 427 and call it good? Prolly be cheaper in the long run?

As badass as that motor is, like cobrakiller mentioned the 500ci beast isn't needed for your goals. ERL built my 364ci LS2 Superdeck I. This block has seen 2000+hp over at the ohio boys camp. We are shooting for 1300hp via a Precision GT 4788 with billet wheel. I originally had a PT88 but sold it in favor of a 4788 as it makes quite a bit more hp and I dont have to push it quite so hard. The 4788 is good for mid to bottom 8's if everything else is right. Call sean over at ERL, he will get you taken care of.

Its a project so moneys not really a issue. Not really going to drag the car alot just something to drive around in on those nice days. Is the stroke to much for boosted cars? It would also run on 93 since there isn't slot of e85 stations around here

Go with a 370 and a GT91. Save tons of money and enough for 7's. We have customers running 170+mph with that turbo and its a good bit less and spools unreal for its size.
