comp 224/224 cam

3" true duals

6-rib with chevychad mod
10.73 pounds of boost
stock bottom end except for arp rod bolts and heads bolts and ported ls6 pump

the car was getting lean up top, when I add my second pump im shooting for around 580-590ish. I have also went with a larger pulley to back the boost down a little bit.

When did the single 255 pump start dying out?(its the fuel pump that comes with the procharger, correct?) Would it be good for 5-550?

How do you like the 3.89s, would you rather have went with a higher or lower ratio?

Also, both of you are pretty much pushing the stock bottom end to the limits, correct?

Do either of you have 1/4 times?

Thanks for the information guys, very helpful stuff. Hopefully I'll be getting my procharger someday...

We never got to make a full pull fuel pressure started dropping up around 5k, I bought the racetronix pump and hotwire kit. No track times yet I want to get my second pump in before I go to the track.

I like the 3.89's. They feel a lot peppier on the street yet also retain highway manners. Only 1/4th time was on 8ish psi with a stock rear end. It was a 11.77@123 with a ovbiously shitty 2.0 60". 1/8th was a 7.5ish IIRC. I drove the car to the track every time and drove it home afterwards. It pulls very hard on the highway. It should be good for mid to high tens I believe.

I ran 10.83 @ 124 on 8 psi with a P1 on the twin 3" intercoolers. Stock LS1 with EPP blower cam, LT's, LS6 Intake. Car has 9", 4200 stall, and TH350. Full interior. If it was my daily - I couldn't live with the stall and tranny combo, but it's not so I am good with it.

New setup is forged 370, D1, and a lot more boost! No track times for it yet.

I definitely will! Just need to get my rear end first, then a cam!

Sounds sweet, I hope I can break into the 10s with the D1 + cam

I don't blame you, many of the 10 bolt rears get knocked out of service during street use. Bob

Is anyone running around the 11.1 - 11.5 compression with this setup? Any power figures with this comp?

I understand with that kind of compression methanol injection would be necessary

That is a good question, I can't think of any offhand. We have used it in stock LS2 and LS3 engines and have made awesome horsepower numbers with it, but their compression ratios are in the high tens. Bob

It depends on the octane of your fuel over there, we an an APS twin turbo Firehawk that was at 11.0/1 at the old shop at 7 psi of boost, and that thing was very impressive. Bob
