Nice build. I have to agree with Phil on the Primary size though. It will work no doubt, but 2" Primaries are huge. I need to make the drive up to check the beast out. I love these types of builds.

The block is around 4,600 plus shipping. The car in this thread is a dry sump, the wet sump is his street cruiser (if you can call a tall deck with a 101mm a street cruiser!) and will be raced a bit also as I understand it.

That's cool...I actually have an ERL Superdeck block that's beem heavily modified this year to hold the power level I'm wanting and also needed to . drop the weight from the LSX.

Let me know if you need any assistance with the tuning/AMS...I'm getting my head around the AMS (which was new to me this year). Phil (LSX Mustang from Maryland) helped me through the transition and I can pass along what I have learned.

1 3/4" or 1 7/8" would be my next headers if I build a set. The 1 3/4" came up on boost FAST, the 2" isn't a slouch but its slower than before.

With a converter that will yeild a sub 10% slippage at 1/8 mile and sub 5%, it takes 3.5 seconds to go from foot brake/idle to 100% and on the 1st chip.

Hey Mark, how do you like the AMS? I'm thinking about switching from the Innovative. I'm comming out to see you guys pretty soon.

He can control his boost and ramp rate at will with that controller, seems very good. He ran 7.50 last night at Milan, he was changing ramp rates/boost settings really slow and went 7.60, 7.57, 7.50 with just slightly more mph each run.

As Kurt stated...it's very consistent. The basis function of controller is pretty easy to understand, I still have some things I want to try...it will take the rest of the season to do it because I'm going to sneak up on it while racing (no time to test right now).

You need to drag your car over to Milan next weekend and race...remember what I told you...that's how I learned alot.

Mark

FYI, went 4.99, 4.95 and 4.98 the next day at an 1/8mile race right off the trailer. Broke all my PB's this weekend thanks to getting the reliable power out of my updated Kurt Urban "midnight special" motor,lol....hope to to lower them a bit more next weekend at LS Motor City Rumble Race.

Hey Todd, hope you drag out the white car, maybe you can shake it down a bit. Been a while since we hung out... Club Paradise.
