Default Way TOO much blowby from PCV

So I finished installing my STS system on my '95 Z, fixed some tranny issues with the car, and it is up and running. Motor has 88K on it. I'm only running around 5 LBs of boost at this time. Car runs really well, no leaking from the bottom end or the turbo. At idle, the car has some blowby through the PCV vent at start up. After driving, the blowby through the PCV vent obviously increased.

Last night I drove the car with the boost at around 8 lbs, and the throttle body coupler blew off. I got it reattached, but the smoke coming from the PCV vent was so much, that the car looked like it was on fire for a while there. Got the car back to the house, reattached the coupler better to the TB, turned the boost back down to around 5 LBs, and went back out for a spin. Car drives great, but still smokes.

Obviously a compression test would be in the works for this particular situation, but does anyone have any ideas as to what this could be? The vent system I have right now is a crappy plastic cap with some filter material in it (obviously need a better system). After a ten minute drive, the filter material is saturated with oil mist. Any ideas guys!?

Not sure of your particular model year PCV setup looks like but do you have a check valve in line between the TB and PCV?

I don't have a line running from the PCV vent to the TB, my PCV vent is just a vent with some filter material in it.

I did have a line running from the PCV vent to the TB, but there was no check valve (this was last week), so I removed it and went back to the aformentioned setup.

I'd have to see how all the OEM PCV ports (throttle body, lifter valley, valve cover(s)) are routed or capped.

like you said you need to do a compression test and leakdown test. more than likely you have damaged pistons if it is blowing smoke from the valve covers.
