Other then just assuming, a few questions should be asked.

1. crank hp or rwhp?
2. at what rpm?

Because you probably will not make 800 rwhp at 10 psi on a 454 at 5500......with a f1 of any kind. But might get real close at 6800....or so. For a 454 to make 6800 your looking at a pretty big cam, and probably about 50000 rpm for the blower at 10 psi.

Id go e 85, a smaller cam and more boost. Get the blower into its 65000 rpm area. Let the engine make the power lower.

i do plan on e85. it is easily avaible. planned on the 454 to be a 10:1 motor( or real close) then run what we need in psi to make up the difference. i was figureig 10 -12 should get us there.

also trany is a t56 magnum and rear will be a MWC 9 with true trac.

( sorry bob i wont be buying a moser and F1 from you. just had great luck with Eric and his stuff) but the F1 you should have sold. do i need to do a front mount intercooler with that? of does that come in the procharger kit?

Not a problem. You can get by with the ProCharger 4.50 " thick twin intercoolers if you are keeping boost under 14 psi. 14-16 psi can be done with the twin intercoolers if you add methanol injection to your set-up. I'd say a 427 with an F-1A at 12 psi should get you around 800 rwhp, based on what we have done in the past. The ProCharger twin intercoolers would work just fine at this boost level. Bob
