Well I have a A4 z28 with 3:73's and when I'm doing 80 it's turning like 2600-2700rpm, is this safe for let's say 100 miles? Or should I be turning less rpm? I don't know if it's creating boost all the time and I don't want to blow the thing up going to work. Should I step-down to 3:42's?

if you have a turbo and no boost guage, that's asking from problems to begin with...regardless, get one so you know what boost you're making at that RPM. depending on your turbo size, and how quick it spools, you could be making boost that low. if that is the case, your MPG's will drop, because the engine will inject lots more fuel to go with the increase in airflow. so the question is now, "how often do you want to fill up?"

Highly doubt you're making any boost just cruising along. Low load = no boost. When you step on it, that's a different story.
