Exclamation Turbo Question.....

Has anyone ever ran one of these? Is this just an eBay turbo but just sold through GodSpeed. I don't want any opinions. If you don't know, just don't say anything.

http://www.godspeedproject.com/store...roducts_id=517

I have made up my mind and I am going to do a front mount. Looking for something about this size. I would buy a used "name brand" if I could find a good deal on one. Let me know if anyone has one.

that hotside is gonna put your motor is a chokehold. i would recommend at the very least a .96 AR housing. .81 is for twins or for an INSTASPOOL motor.

Dammit man. I guess there really is no such thing as "budget" turbo build.

From the link
Turbine Wheel diameter 72.78mm /64.20mm

That would be close to a 76 mm .81 ptrim.
The ptrim is just too small for a 6.0.
You need a Q or F1-68 minimum to not choke a 6.0
And those are still small. The S trims choke at 15+ and 5k.
Lots of dyno posts to prove it. But they make plenty of power anyway.
The MPT76Q .96 a/r is about the same price. Cheaper I think.

Hmm. Just don't think that I can do it. The MPT76 is only a couple hundred more dollars and it's a lot more reliable. Thanks for the info though.

GREAT CHOICE!!! i used that turbo in my last kit and it was awesome. people make great numbers with them. the only downside is they are pretty large on the compressor side for a 76mm. here are some pics of mine for reference.
