now i know lots of you have your own opinon about Logs and why they suck, But that isn't what i am about to ask.
I Know very little about Turbo's but i have decide to venture out into the Turbo world and build my First Turbo car.
After Completely Fragging a 422 on the dyno , i have now started building an Aluminum 427.
With that said what size log? the plan is running a pt88 but again what size log?
3in log with 2in prime? 3in 1 7/8in? 3in 1 3/4in? 2.5in 2in? 2.5in 1 7.8in? 2.5in 1 3/4in?
i have done "some" reading on the matter and i have also contact some vendors but knowone has any real info. i know Real info will be hard to come by but any ideas will be taken into consideration
Thank You

Are you going to run both banks through the log like the TTi and QMP kits or are you gonna Y the X-over in at the turbo? if your gonna run both banks through the log i`d go 3in log with 1 7/8 primarys. If your gonna Y it in at the turbo i`d go 2.5in log with 1 3/4 primarys and 2 1/2in crossover going into the turbo.

1 5/8 or 1 3/4 is generally as big as you want with a turbocharged engine... race or street. Think small before the turbo for velocity and as big as you can fit for the DP
Like the guy above said... are you doing a log on one side with a manifold feeding it or two logs Y'd together?

I`ve been trying to find the time to finish the 3in log for my turbo tech kit well see what happens when i get it done. Spool time might be affected but i`m willing to bet i`ll gain some HP from the lower exhaust backpressure and better flow from all the primarys entering the log at a 35* angle to direct flow instead of a 90* angle like the original log.
