im going to start piecing together my fmic kit real soon.
so thank you guys for the pictures, its just that much more motivating.
only question i had was,
did you guys go with 3" or 4" thick intercoolers?
im not sure which one to go with.

Mines 4inches thick but a 3inch would be fine the only reason i went with a 4 inch is because i gotta great deal on it!!!!

i kinda reshaped the bottom plastic on the bumper and mounted it to the two mounts on the bottom of the intercooler

Me and Tally TA use the same intercooler if i am not mistaken. They are CXracing intercooler and they are 4 inch thick.

do you have any pictures of your setup? i see that you have a vortech kit on your car with a fmic. i have a vortech unit as well and im looking to go fmic so any pictures that you have would be appreciated.
im still trying to figure out how to configure the piping and what im going to do about the coolant resivour.

Sure thing. DISCLAIMER -- The bumper is not on yet so don't take this as a howto. I'm sure a battle is yet to be waged.

what kind of coolant resivour is that if you dont mind me asking?
and why didnt you do a same side inlet/outlet intercooler?

Yea, I was wondering about the same side inlet/outlet myself. My thought process before tearing it apart (for the first time personally) was to make it as much of an apples to apples swap with the leaky procharger as possible. Now having it apart I probably should have done same side to reduce a couple of feet of plumbing. I'll let you know on the reservoir after I get home from work.

just trying to piece everything together before i start blowing money.
