Whats the best plug for factory 243 casting, going to run 15 psi full timing pump gas. I just purchased a bunch of tr6's(4177), should i run a differant plug

BR7EF for sure....just to be on the safe side. I lost a grounding strap on a TR6 at 15psi and tune was perfect.

Just out of curiousity, did you end up hurting your motor when you lost that ground strap?

Bullshit the tune was perfect, I've been 8.6@160mph on Tr6s and 22psi and never nipped one yet. Makes enough power to run 128mph at the 1/8th @ over 3300lbs on 275 drag radials. Pulled the engine apart and the plugs/pistons look great!

Not saying the tr6 is the way to go but there had to be other factors.

Maybe the meth hick up'd or something but Frost had the tune spot on

So on a high CR boosted engine you guys recommend BR7EF gapped at .025 or so?

10.4:1 @ 15psi 92 octane (methanol is a maybe)
