2 bar map not registering boost
in vcm sanner it does not go above 105 kpa in the afr histogram, and my boost conroller/gauge was showing 4 psi and you could hear the blow off valve, so it was building pressure
why is it not recording it in vcm scanner ?
i also have all this codes
p0102
p0106
p0645
p0650
p1637
u1016
b0017
u1040

Sorry, I may have not been clear. By 3rd gen I meant an LS1/LS6 PCM. 4th gen being an LS2/3/7 PCM. If you have the 2002 F-Body thats in your profile then you have a 3rd gen PCM which requires you changing the MAP PID in the scanner to the 2 bar MAP PID.

You need to delete MAP (SAE) from your table display. If you have that running with the 2 bar map it will not display properly. Right click table display > configure user defined.
Name: 2 bar map
abv: 2 bar
Sensor: Manifold absolute pressure
Untis: Kpa
Function : [AUX.20021]
Or just go down to the bottom where it says EIO inputs and insert 2 bar map.
Now setup your chart page to use the 2 bar map accordingly.

also how can i richen up my idle ? it idles in the 18 range until i give it a little bit of gas and then it goes to 13:1
the car is in open loop and will be staying there
thanks again for the help, this is a great forum, nobody in the hp tuners forum likes to help out.

Sorry for the thread jack elias, just curious about something he said.
Is the offset of 10.33 good on the ls1/6 pcm as well?? we are never sure if the map is reading "correctly" and were wondering about this.
sorry OP

I used an offset of 200 and 8.0 on my friends 04 gto. Honestly man I would try tuning a more stockish car first if you are just starting. There are a ton of things that need to be setup properly to have added safety factors for a boosted setup. Idle afr will be controlled the from the same table all of your open loop speed density tuning will be done. The volumetric efficiency table.

unfortunately for me it is the only car i have to practice on
anyway i went to the status display, deleted the sae map sensor
then went insert, used defined,
Name: 2 bar map
abv: 2 bar
Sensor: Manifold absolute pressure
Untis: Kpa
Function : [AUX.20021]
did exactly that and when i started the car, it did not show me anything, the 2 bar map stayed at 0 and none of the histograms worked.
what did i do wrong ?
