with 8.5:1 id prolly ditch the p1 and the no2 and go with a d-1. you should be able to max it out on pump gas with that CR.

go with an F1 blower, setup your pulleys for 15 psi, get a front mount intercooler, a big fuel system to support it, and yes the 200 shot is probably a bad idea, you are better off with a boosted motor.........you should be able to get away with a good pump gas tune.....

I am at 9.2-1 and PSJ is at 9.1-1 and we run 1550 cfm blowers. at 14-18 psi. YOU are going to want to raise that CR a bit. With your CR that high you will need about 20 psi to make what we are making I think. so I would raise the CR and run 15 psi with a F1 or YS

so you guys think the N2O is a bad Idea? I'm pretty new with the whole F/I thing.I've been Using nitrous for a while and finally grenade the motor.N-E ways I also gotta pass smog is it gonna be harder with the bigger blowers? Oh and the reason I wanna go with the 8.5 comp is cuz I see the 03 Cobra's run that kind of compression and are very streetable

How much boost you can run is dictated by:
-what fuel you use
-your fuel system
-whether you mess with alchohol injection

So with a bone stock fuel system you can boost like 4psi.

With a bigger intank and a voltage booster you can run maybe 12psi.

With dual intank or a big external like me you can run 17psi no problem. I think I could probably boost to about 22psi.

Three year is a long time, the technology will change around you. Start with something you can enjoy and afford, upgrade along the way ...reselling some stuff along the way.
