Twins out back eh? Looks like a sweet setup! I've always wanted to try the 1 mile. What are you aiming for, 200 at least I'm guessing.

Don't expect those mufflers to live very long mounted that close to the turbine.

What plans do you have to provent the exhaust cooking the intake pipes? Are you going to coat and wrap the exhaust? How about a thermal shield between the two?

Also what is the dimentions of the oval tubing?

Ta,

Chris.

All the piping is being coated and the hot side is getting wrapped. I dont think heat will be an issue. Oval tubing is the equivalent of 3.5" round pipe.

Plus the air is cooled by those two A/W's after it travels to the front of the car.

Good news on the coating and wraping ofthe pipes. Should def reduce heat transfer!

So what are the physical dimensions of 3.5inch equilivant piping? Dose the cold side pipe work protrude much below the bottom of the car?

ALso do you think this, maybe with smaller piping, could be used on the street? maybe as an alternative to STS piping?....

Chris.

I never understood the adavantage of a rear mount kit...wouldn't there be a huge amount of lag? Do people do it because there is no room in the engine bay? I'm not knocking it, I've just never been shown how it works.

There is no problem with a rear mount as long as its well planned, if the turbos are sized properly then there will not be any lag. We went to the rear on this car for a few reasons. 1- they would not fit up front, and 2- I wanted to keep the heat away from the engine bay.
